I agree- it puts things into perspective. I think it also highlights the (sometimes nasty) realities of teen parenthood, which is probably good for at-risk teens to see. |
Well, to make long story short ill give you highlights: -Jace no longer seems excited to see her. He's indifferent now. He's all about grandma, rightfully so. -She ended up in jail a couple of times. -she got a boyfriend who seemed like a great guy and her mom loved him, he was great with Jace. -she got engaged. -boyfriend beat her up and ended up in jail. -she went back with Keiffer and they are still getting high all the time, most recently almost getting evicted for not paying rent. -with all his going on, she found enough time to go brunette again, get a boob job and drop out of school. |
It's more like what hasn't happened with her. Just this week: arrested for assault and possession of a LOT of heroin. http://m.tmz.com/#Article/2013/04/23/jenelle-evans-teen-mom-arrested-heroin |
PP here: There's a ton more that has happened since the show stopped filming. Jenelle is now married to a different douchebag who hits her, and they faked pregnancy and miscarriage. |
14:05 here Oh I bet! I don't follow the stuff that's not on the show yet, the stuff I said was what's been on the air. |
I hate Janelle so much. I feel like Jace is going to have a tough time growing up, and it's all her fault. That poor sweet little baby. Shame on her!! **pregnancy rage overdrive** |
Minor quibble: the father is to blame as well. Also, Jace will have a huge leg up in school admissions/scholarship applications for having had his mother's awfulness broadcast on TV. Doesn't make up for it by far, but he's miles ahead of kids in similar circumstances who don't have the cameras. Of course, he has to hope his grandma lives long enough to get him there. |
The odds are against him graduating from high school, let alone college. |
Anyone know what the latest is on Maci/Bentley? She seemed like the most solid one on the show -- seemed like she stayed in school and was committed to being a good mom and had good family support from her parents and the father's parents. I know there was some bf drama but it didn't seem over the top and it seemed like if she had to raise him alone, she'd do just fine. |

The only dad that seems worth a damn is Corey, but Leah is so ridiculous she couldn't see that when she had him. He never complains about his responsibilities and seems to want to do whatever he can for the girls. I feel bad for him in that he so clearly (well, on the show) wanted their family to work.
Chelsea's baby daddy is a POS. considering her dad is so great, I wonder why she can't deal without Adam. Confusing. Everyone else is just a train wreck. |
I agree! Poor baby... And considering the mother figure he has, he'll need years of therapy. The hate he'll have inside is the stuff Law & Order SUV is made out of. |
And somehow Leah found herself yet another guy who is as great as Corey. I don't know what these guys see in her, but I hope, for the sake of the girls, that she doesn't fuck it up with him, too. Chelsea, I think, probably just has a hard time letting go of the dream of her daughter having a great dad, like she did. Her parents are awesome and she probably wanted that family base for her daughter. Once she realizes the baby daddy doesn't have to be in the picture for her to have that, he'll be history. I just think she's too young/immature to see that just yet. |
Kailyn is pregnant with baby number 2.
Adam's girlfriend is pregnant with a baby girl. Leah already had her baby girl. Jenelle was pregnant, but it is said that it may have just been a rumor. |
Jo (Kailyn's ex/Isaac's dad) has matured a LOT. I don't think he's featured as much any more because he just doesn't bring the drama. He fights for his visitation and is clearly dedicated to his son. When Kail wanted more weekend time with their son, he agreed but insisted on more weekdays to make up for it. And when Kail brought up moving with her now-husband and changing visitation to summers only, Jo made it clear that he would not agree to it, and their lawyers would have to come up with a solution. He's just smart enough (now) not to have arguments on camera, and let the lawyers hash it out. Watching some of the early episodes and how much of an immature jerk he used to be has made me like him a little bit more, seeing how much he has grown. |
