Where can I get quark around here?

I was at DuPont Circle this morning and saw it all over at the farmers market. Don't know what it is, but there was plenty of it.

Costco has it right now (not sure if they always have it). Also, you can usually substitute greek yogurt for it with good results. Or get a yogurt maker and make your own out of buttermilk. Either way it's not going to be cheap.

Thank all! Not a member of Costco but will check out the farmers markets mentioned. I use quark in everything- mashed potatoes, dips, cakes, and of course my famous cheesecake! I also love to eat it plain although many find it too tart.
