Weekend getaway at 34 weeks? Too close?

| I would do it. Was your first labor fast? I went into labor at the beach with my first (36 weeks), so we just drove home! My OB was still ok with travel until 35 weeks with #2 as long as there weren't complications. |

| I went to OC up until 37 weeks with my doctors ok. She just gave me a copy of my chart in case I did go into labor. Of course this was in the middle of July, and I only tried the beach once. It was nice to lay around and read for a few days and eat good food. |

| My DD arrived at 36 weeks (perfect in every way) and was my first so I had nothing to compare. If your first was on-time or late, absolutely. If your first was a few weeks early, then I probably wouldn't. |
