9:10 and 9:15, please take a few more sentences and explain what you mean. Please define the "shitstorms." Please explain what President Obama has on his agenda that is "expanding centralized government and [creating] a dependent citizenry."
It may be too soon after the loss to want to grapple with how you woke up yesterday AM to a second Obama term. But, if you want to win the popular voter and electoral college for the second time in seven presidential elections, you will need to face facts. Some of those facts include that African-American professionals, small business-owning Asians and Latinos, young folks, single white women, and the white working class outside of the South don't want to be governed by the "modern day" GOP. We are the rising American electorate, the new majority. We are inclusive, you are exclusive - and the latter sucks when you are dying off. Your own Bush strategist Matt Dowd said it best - the GOP is the "Mad Men" Party living in a "Modern Family" America. |

Please explain to me how forcing everyone to purchase health insurance, thereby removing or significantly limiting the need for the government to provide them with free health care, is creating a dependent citizenry. |

From what I've read, the reaction is a typical "circular firing squad." Moderates blame the Tea Partiers. Social Conservatives say Romney did not stay true to his Conservative principles. Blame Chris Christie, blame the people who voted for Obama, blame dirty tricks, blame pollsters, blame Nate Silver, blame, blame, blame, blame.
Seems like they have a ways to go before they can regroup for 2016. |

This. I saw so many on this board who relied on the polls for popular vote, and they couldn't explain the EC scenario where Romney would win. I asked several times for an explanation. The polls all along had Obama ahead in the EC. I don't get the shock. (but do sympathize with them, as in 2004 I felt the same about Bush) |
