Hey Sandy girl...

I am totally bummed that our preschool and elementary school parades will be cancelled for rain....maybe they could just let them march through the hall or gym...but 'no total cancellation'.

My kids are at 'prime' trick-or-treating ages this year and are so psyched for it. I hope it is not too bad Wed. night. Of course--if power goes out before Halloween--you can bet I am eating ALL OF OUR trick-or-treat candy!!

How can counties or states control trick or treating??

Springsteen earworm. You're welcome.

My kids love halloween so I'll definitely be a little bummed for them if it's cancelled but honestly, I hate it so I'll be thrilled! Plus, we have plenty of candy at home that I bought weeks ago so they won't go without. To me, the idea of halloween being cancelled is the one bright spot to this storm.

State? County? Who cares. If the weather stops it from being on Wednesday, I am going to try to get some neighbors to agree to another niGht. My kid is so into it this year. I will find a way to trick or treat.

You guys, the weather might be gone or tapering off by Wednesday but if we get hit hard, it's still not going to be safe to go out. Downed trees, fallen power lines, etc. etc. Please don't be idiots about this. Buy your kids a bunch of candy as consolation and prepare to sit your ass indoors.

Stay off my turf. I'll make the decision when I choose to.
