Your post has a few inaccuracies:

The Attorney General found that 14 members of the Palin administration -- including the Attorney General himself -- had made calls to the Public Safety Commissioner about Palin's brother-in-law. Palin had denied any pressure had been put on the commissioner, but the investigation turned up a tape that proved otherwise. The idea there there was "one call" is ludicrous.

The legislative investigation hasn't had any findings because its investigation is not complete. The former Public Safety Commissioner says he has emails showing Palin's involvement. There is little disagreement concerning her husband's involvement. This probably is not going to turn out well for Palin.

from the article you mentioned. When exactly is she going to do that as a VP? I know some people here keep saying it is none of our business and not part of her campaign but then she shouldn't have mentioned anything about this to the press. She should have made her family private business and she does not do that. I have a child with special needs who needs to go to therapy 3 times a week. If I had a job that required for me to travel, I couldn't go with him.

whoever said that parents with special needs children will be on her side, is just wrong. I don't share her idea of parenting, nor do I share her political views. And I know other special needs parents who are just as turned off by this.

The investigation turned up one call that was inappropriate. All the others were deemed appropriate. The one person who made the innapropriate phone call was the person who was put on leave without pay.

so much for abstinence... anyone else feel that she loses credibility? she can't even teach her own daughter to live by her political values... how does she think she can convince a whole nation's teenagers?

That article is from 2006. Palin is a politician and could have changed her views umpteen times since then.

The beauty of it all is at the end of the Reuters article. The McCain campaign is blaming the spread of the rumor on liberal bloggers spreading lies and slinging mud, and the campaign is connecting it to Obama by noting that some of the blogs have his name in the title. It's as good a turnabout as the "race card": "How dare you lie about this poor girl's virtue. She couldn't have been pregnant then because she's pregnant now."

Aside from the absurdity of the using pregnancy to defend the honor of a girl suspected of pregnancy, this overlooks the fact that most of us never thought about it in terms of sinful behavior. Immorality for us is starting wars, not having sex! We may have succumbed to over-active curiosity, but it wasn't lies or mud-slinging.

It is to Palin's credit that she accepts human frailty (as well as contraception!)

Palin supports contraception, not contraception education (she is abstinence-only for education).

Fox News reported that the daughter will be getting married to the BF. I also read an article that Palin will be bringing all of her children to DC to live in the VP residence. Does that mean my tax $$ now will have to support her entire clan? Baby's Daddy included? In McCain's statement today, Palin is quoted as saying her daughter has chosen to keep her baby and will now grow up quickly and deal with being a young parent, blah, blah, blah.

How hard will that actually be if your Mom becomes VP? IMO, it's not going to be so tough!
