According to the article, "Most D.C. workers do not make inflated salaries, and the pay for many is relatively low."
But, by all means, let's pick out one guy and turn him into a deceptive headline. Also, would you mind providing your salary and profession so that we can determine whether or not it is worthy of discussing on DCUM? |
Jeff, I don't work for the taxpayers. Thank you. |
Uhhhh yeah, misleading title there, OP.
Good for him! What a thankless job, if he has stuck with it that long, he has earned it. |
and why doesn't a janitor deserve to be paid well? he's cleaning up after inflated egos like yourself, op. |
Bur chances are you are overpaid. Personally, I say Good for the janitors. I wouldn't want to clean up after a bunch of lazy slobs every day. Too bad the police, firefighters, teachers, nannies, and other people aren't paid properly for theie jobs. |
Just how much do you expect someone who lives in DC to be making after working at the same job for over 25 years? 100K in this area does not sound like a lot to me when you're looking toward your twilight years. |
With your attitude, I sincerely doubt you "work" at all. |
Gosh, it only took him 26 years of cleaning up after your bratty kids. |
He's still not paid enough! |
I love the direction of this thread. Guess OP has fled! |
The point is that this person's compensation is not within the normal market rate for a cleaning person.
In other words, is it fair to pay a DC government cleaning personal almost three times as much as to any other cleaning person with the same experience? They also clean up after bratty kids ![]() |
Doesn't surprise me.at.all. |
The DC government is just an advertisement for the Republican party. |
