I'm afraid it is true this time. Apple sent out a press release.
http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/steve-jobs-apple-ceo-dies/story?id=14383813 RIP Steve. I will rock on my ipod as a tribute. |
He really was amazing. Such a huge loss. |
This is so, so horrible. Why couldn't it have been Zuckerberg or Page/Brin? Facebook and Google have ruined everything. Job used his powers for good. |
Please. Regardless what you think of them, you can't wish pancreatic cancer on anyone! |
Keep your death wishes to yourself. A new low on DCUM. |
I love Steve. Now everyone go out and get the new iPhone. |
Wow, what sad news. |
He was only 56. His legacy will live on for a long time. |
Total bummer. I loved his Stanford speech:
"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future," he told Stanford University graduates during a commencement speech in 2005. "You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life." |
His poor family. at 56 he still would have had years of innovations ahead of him, that we will never see. Truly, it is the world's loss. |
RIP, Steve, your achievements greatly overshadow the disease that eventually took your life. In the future, there will be an overall cure for cancer. Thanks for helping us usher in the positive future. |
He worked his entire life...sans when he was sick...never really got to enjoy all the money he made when he retired....or maybe he did...either way so sad for his family. |
I am so sad for his wife and children.
Pancreatic cancer is awful. It's remarkable that he lived with it for seven years. May he rest in peace. |
Wow...so very sad. RIP, Steve.
This was really low. You should be ashamed. |
