Then nothing he had done counts because we are worse off now than we were two years ago. Morgan Stanley predicts another recession. Another Nero.

When Bush fixes the additional 4% unemployment and $3 trillion war debt that he created, and plugs the hole for the tax shortage that he signed into law, we can talk about Obama fixing the last 1% unemployment and pay back the stimulus.

Are you still blaming Bush? So have we agreed that Obama has no clue now then? Because he was elected on his promise to "fix this great nation". Has just made it so much worse.

pretty sure the unemployment rate under Bush was between 4% and 6%. not like under this clown.

Ummm...I am a big D, but I really get what people are saying. The Prez could have chosen something a little less elite and more typically American...such as hiking somewhere or something low frills. MV stands for the "eastern elite" and this might not be the best time for that

Pretty sure the Secret Service would crap its collective self if the President wanted to go plunging off into the woods.

So Bush takes eight years to run the county into the ground and Obama is supposed to fix that in less than two, and without raising taxes?

So OP are you suggesting that if he didn't go on vacation that somehow he'd use that time to reduce unemployment? I dont like the guy but I dont begrudge him a vacation with his family.

Yes, it's way different than Kennebunkport. Or maybe he should do something "folksy" like head off to his private ranch. Because everyday folks have 1500 acres of land just for funning around.

The Clintons went to Wyoming the summer before election and the Secret Service had no problem. After being re-elected, Clinton went back to MV for vacations. However, and this is a huge, however, unemployment was low, deficit was being handled, Clinton knew how to lead. Obama and the Imperial family should have vacationed at Camp David. People are going to bed hungry, wake up hungry, the elderly, children. The truth is that he really is all form and no subtance. He is the largest source of untapped natural gas in the country.

I dunno. The Bush ranch looks like a dump to me. Obama is going to MV so that he can schmooze and raise funds among wealthy elite liberals. I think that's why he is going there. Otherwise, why not just go back to Hawaii.

I give Bush most of the blame for creating the problem, but I also think Obama deserves blame for not doing a better job of solving it. I accept his instinct to try to compromise, but it was pretty obvious that Boehner and McConnell either did not want compromise or did not have sufficient control of their party to do it even if they wanted to.

Bush left Obama a country with a AAA rating and and economy in good enough condition that Obama felt he could waste an entire year on Obamacare. Obama is a terrible leader. nobody likes him does he even have any friends? NOBODY would follow this snakebit, uncoordinated, head bobbing between telepromters, LOOoooOOOoooOOOooOOser into battle.

That's like pushing someone off a roof and saying "He was fine when I saw him last. It must be that guy standing next to the body who's at fault; why doesn't he do something?"

You are so f-in weird, with your obsession with the president's athleticism.

I'm developing a theory: you spend all your time playing Call of Duty online, and have thereby become convinced that small squad tactical conflict constitutes the entirety of existence.
