I think you are being ornery for the sake of orneriness.

What time is it going to be on??? I'm dying to listen and am excited to hear both jeff and adequate's voices - will i be disappointed? Will they be softer than i imagined? Louder? Nasally? of the suspense...

p.s. am i the only one who thinks the lady who wrote the article kind of missed the point? yes, there are planty of snarky snarkies on here, but where the heck else could i go to ask about my 2nd degree perineal tear and what pads to use? Literally, all my friends had C sections (go ahead, vag birther people, please feel free to start a new thread on why the c-section rate is so high in this area)

I can't stand to be in a room with deviled eggs or any hard-boiled egg product. Fear Factor could ding me in the first round with an boiled egg product. Weirdly, I adore omelets and am an accomplished brunch chef, specializing in various fancy scrambled egg dishes. As of this writing, no therapist has been able to unravel this mystery. My best guess is that it's because of the smell. But it might be that I was dropped on my head at birth, a theory that explains many other things.

I have a friend who is afraid of celery! Can't take her to Chinese restaurants.

I have been on that ride before more than once, anonymity and all, thank you. (As has anyone whose thread becomes a free for all.) I for one LOVE this aspect of DCUM and plan to say just that on WAMU if I get on the air. I share a lot, give advice when I have it to give, post encouraging words when I feel them but I also enjoy the negativity and aggressiveness here. I wish I could remember the name of the artist who replied when asked why she couldn't be happier, "Why should I limit myself to happiness?"

I personally like the Kojo show. He did a show a week or so ago about the field of digital humanties. I found it fascinating how they were using text mining to analyze Victorian era books..

How bad could he be? He's featuring DCUM!

Good luck guys!!

TT isn't even a miniscule fraction as irritating as Science Friday (NPR, I know) with Ira Flatow. Every syllable the guy utters makes America dumber.

I did an interview with ABCNews.com today about the article. Who knew that a discussion about strollers would get so much attention?

Ugh...I'm not sure how I feel about feeding the media beast. This thing has taken on a life of its own...

That article was so one-sided though, that maybe someone telling the other side of the story will help balance things out....

We really should come up with some of the "best of" threads, that really show the good things about this site. There are so many.... (although my guess is that Jeff's already on it).

I suggested her and helped get them in touch. But, the producer may have been thinking about her anyway because it was sort of obvious.
