Dare I say that the media spotlight continues? Jeff, will you be on?

Oh, that's bound to be awful. I can't stand Kojo -- he never really gets it, he's always making dumb and slightly inappropriate jokes that he interrupts guests for, etc. etc.

I find his show cringe-worthy.

Katie -- who wrote the WCP article -- Adequate Parent, and I will all be on the show (assuming it is not preempted by something more important such as events in Egypt).

In order to deflect attention from the fact that I will be an incoherent idiot among communications professionals, I will be revealing all of your secrets

How will Kojo introduce Adequate, DCUM handle or real name?

My understanding is that she will be wearing a bag with eye-holes over her head and we won't be allowed to know her true identity. If you have ever watched Top Gear, she is sort of like the parenting version of "The Stig".

I will be Lara H. Schwartz, Esquire (on inactive status), pro ghostwriter of serious things, mother of one cool kid, spouse to a kick-ass husband, owner of three well-intentioned pets, seeker of a cure for bad skin, possessor of a severe egg salad phobia, fan of the Boston Red Sox, 30 Rock, and Clorox wipes.

No anonymity at all.

Don't be afraid of criticism. The only taste of success some people get is when they take a bite out of you.

Hey Lara, pleased to make your acquaintance. What's with the egg salad? Does your phobia extend to deviled eggs, too? 30 Rock is BRILLIANT. That Tina Fey is a good egg!

I can't stand to be in a room with deviled eggs or any hard-boiled egg product. Fear Factor could ding me in the first round with an boiled egg product. Weirdly, I adore omelets and am an accomplished brunch chef, specializing in various fancy scrambled egg dishes. As of this writing, no therapist has been able to unravel this mystery. My best guess is that it's because of the smell. But it might be that I was dropped on my head at birth, a theory that explains many other things.

Thank you. I was afraid I was the only one. He's a banal pablum for complacent smug yuppie assholes. Unfortunately, a lot of WAMU is like this. And, no, I'm not a right-wing idiot.

PS, I'll be calling in and using my real name. I never mind telling people IRL that I love DCUM.

Come on people. Be nice. You can disagree without being disagreeable. It's no fun having anonymous posters attack you and, if you think it is, please login so we can give you the time of your life.

I have to disagree somewhat (I wrote that original post). I love WAMU (although Dianne Rehm is getting a bit past her heyday, IMO). I think Kojo stands out from the ret of WAMU/NPR in his mediocrity.

I love Kojo -- tech Tuesdays are a favorite and I have no issues with Adequate.
