I follow the markets closely, including the weekly and monthly indicators. Not, it is not true. Look at the underlying numbers, not just the top line announcements.

Wow, I guess the bootlickers here never considered how much buying went into the economy between January and March ahead of tariffs being imposed. Apple as well as huge retailers noted consumers were stocking up on items and accelerating purchases before the higher prices kicked in.

They are reporting top line numbers. Read the footnotes and understand what consumer and retail activity took place ahead of tariffs.
