Marijuana causes psychosis

A stoned populace is more complacent, less likely to revolt, and easier to control. - Gov.

Yes, marijuana can cause psychosis. It can also cause cognitive damage. Moreover, unlike alcohol, secondhand exposure is dangerous. If a parent smokes (or even the neighbor in the next apartment), they are putting their child at risk.

Here are a few links about the dangers:

Even though widespread legalization and the higher potency of modern marijuana may be relatively new factors and there should definitely be more research, I think existing research already supports the following conclusions:

1. Marijuana can cause neurological damage.

2. Developing brains are particularly vulnerable.

3. Secondhand smoke is dangerous to nonsmokers.

Legalizing marijuana for recreational use was a tragic decision of epic proportions. While I do agree that it can have medical benefits, its use should be prescribed and administered in ways that don’t jeopardize the health of others, especially not children.

We think we have problems now with a poorly educated populace and behavioral problems in schools - what do you expect to happen after we’ve raised a generation of brain-damaged kids? We are literally sacrificing our next generation (which is our future) to this generation’s drug habit.

Perhaps if you were a better parent you wouldn’t need the government to protect your kids.

You’re obviously a pothead. Who are you to criticize? LOL

Ahhh the stupidity psychosis is setting in with this one.

Not an idiot and no concerns about my own young kids but i am a researcher who works with schizophrenic patients (and am not, like you, a dumbf#%^)

A researcher. Every time this comes up some “ researcher” comes out of the woodwork to schooo us. Back it up researcher. What is your research revealing? Should be more than that I’m a “dumbf##%^”. To be fair your haven’t had the amble opportunity to study me so you should hold off on any conclusions.

Keep going—no one needs to “study” you, it’s apparent you’re screwed up.

There seems to be one poster, probably a teenager, who is against everyone who posts anything in support of the OP. It’s unproductive and unconstructive to attack people personally.

This is accurate. It happened to my brother and it was terrifying. I used to smoke on occasion but don’t anymore

Don't worry, the psychedelics are next which will be followed by opiates

Psychedelics are important per Joe Rogen

Oh then they’ll definitely be legalized in the next 4 years.
