It's a fairly active (and wacky) facebook group. Most of the looks are for FL/TX/CA, but there are sometimes MidAtlantic teams looking for tournament guest (or guests looking for tournaments): Youth Soccer Guest Player Opportunities

Who does your boy currently play for? How do you not know what clubs are in Mont County? If he is that good, why would you not look at the nova clubs, Alex and Arlington?

Last year he played in another state. This year he decided that he was going to just play varsity, at least for the fall, and adjust to a new city and 9th grade. But now the kids at soccer camp have convinced him otherwise.

Achilles practices in NW DC and silver spring tho.

Achilles, BSC and Alexandria are MLSNext.

Potomac, Arlington, Maryland United are in ECNL.

Check out USYS run by EDP for other teams that play in the premier levels.

Wouldn't that fit the definition of "in or near Montgomery County"?

+1. Achilles" DC practice is at SJC. It is literally right on the DC/MoCo line.

So you’re saying he’s an incoming freshmen, new to the state, that already has a Varsity offer? Sounds fishy OP!
