Are you out of shape?

I ran 4 miles this morning. My lungs/breathing felt completely normal, although yes things smelled smokey.

Have felt fine all day at work.

You are probably less in tune with your body than others. I live in a mountain town where Olympic athletes train. They know their bodies so well that after a couple of days of smoke from ca last summer (aqi in 70-80’s), they told me they could definitely sense the effect on their lungs. Just like how diabetics can get burns and never realize it, some people are less sensitive.

That’s just so irresponsible. To your body, your health, the community. Sigh.

You understand you can’t train for pollution, right? This isn’t about fitness..

Where are you? It’s just as bad in Nova today.

It's been SO nice having sidewalks and trails empty from crappy dog owners and jerk cyclists with bright lights (especially blinking ones) the past couple of days.

We’re currently at 79. The forecast predicted that we’d see a spike this morning, and wind should sweep it away mid-day.

I’m in nyc where Wednesday was awful, yesterday was still unhealthy and this morning our aqi is moderate and I see blue sky. It’s SO much better.

It’s getting better. Should be fine this weekend.

Say what? I know you’re trying to make this another way to judge others but this has ABSOLUTELY no impact on anyone but the runner.
