I know, right?

I'm still curious though on what happens if too many applicants accept spots and a class is over enrolled......

I did two deposits and freed up my Beauvoir spot. This was back in May though.

If a class is overenrolled they just admit fewer kids to it the next entry year. Not a big deal when PreK, K, and 1 are all entry years.

That is correct--they don't revoke acceptances. Most sought- after schools have an over-enrolled class every once in a while and they just squeeze an extra chair or two in the classes and try to adjust the following year.

I know my school can't meet it's yield in the pre-primary division. They're still doing summer admits. They don't even have a waiting list.

I have two deposits tied up at each of the Big 3 - Rod Blagojevich is going to help me broker an Ebay auction for the ones I don't need. Any takers?

Our school had its directory update info deadline June 1. Directory for next year being published before end of June. I take from this that they don't expect any more movement and are moving forward.

Feynman School, which is launching this year in Darnestown, is also still accepting admissions for preschool, pre-K and kindergarten. www.feynmanschool.org.
