Same poster again. I thought I would add that I have been bringing my children to see them for five years now. I am in no way complacent about their care, especially since one is special needs, and I couldn't imagine changing providers. In fact, we moved and there was no way I would have switched to a pediatrician who was closer.

Discovery Pediatrics. They have been recommended over and over again on these boards.

We use Discovery Pediatrics and are happy with the practice. Our childrens dosctor is Dr. Madden and we all love her. There are 3 doctors in the practice and we initially saw Dr. Cohen but switched after a year because my dd developed a weird fear of him and we also did not really like him too much (didn't seem to connect with the kids).
We never have to wait for more than 5-10 minutes for our appointments and have never had an issue getting same day sick appointments.

Children's First Pediatrics. The doctors have been wonderful.

Pediatric and Adolescent. We LOVE Dr. Feldman and have been seeing them for over 6 years. Almost no wait time, always have same day appointments. I love Buckley (the nurse practitioner) too, but indifferent to the other doctors and only see them if those two aren;t available.

We love Pediatric and Adolescent too. My husband's fave is Dr. Feldman, like the PP. I like all of them. They are all so calm and reassuring. We have no difficulty getting in for morning sick visits and they have call-in times when you can call to speak to a doctor during weekdays. I don't know if it's just my kids or if their nurses are great at giving shots, but my preschoolers have gone in the last couple of times and got their shots without a single tear. They claim the shots don't hurt!

We like Children First Pediatrics.

We left Discovery Pediatrics because we didn't like Dr. Ben (my kids were leery of him), and because the office staff was incompetent and rude.

Anyone else use and LIKE Children First Pediatrics??

We LOVE Pediatric and Adolescent Care, and drive all the way from DC. We use Ms. Buckley as our primary, and it has been awesome having an LC be my kids care provider, because she totally "gets" being a nursing mom, as well as having a fantastic bedside manner and being extremely knowledgeable. Our older child has had a couple of health issues (ear tubes, asthma) and we have had to see all the docs there at one point or another. They have all been so great at explaining things and walking us through the problems. Can't say enough good things.

Where is Pediatric and Adolescent Care located? I don't think they take our insurance anymore (UHC)

May be out of your way, but we like Takoma Park Pediatrics, on the grounds of Washington Adventist Hospital. The two original doctors, a father-daughter team (Drs Sadhasivam and Sithanandam) are excellent, gentle and caring. The staff is friendly and has very little turn-over.
Cons: waits can be long, up to 30 minutes one day for my son, but then Dr Sadhasivam spent 45 minutes with us! Never had another doctor spend that much time with me!
And I do not like one of their new doctors, with her I-know-better attitude (actually, no, she does not know better).

We are moving further away, but will keep that practice.
