where do you all live? just curious from whom i am getting my parenting advice from?

| Well, I don't think you're necessarily in the minority. If I took a poll of only P/T working Moms who live in Gaithersburg I'd probably be in the minority too. I think we all live in different parts of the DC area (or have). We don't all live in the District, but there are many SAHMs on the board who probably don't live that far from you so it's still useful for the board in terms of offering places to go for things or just questions that involve locations. Even though I live in MD, I often go into VA to do things and meet friends at Tyson's who live in Springfield or Sterling. I will admit that I don't go into the District a ton (mostly just for lunch to meet my husband between our works) but a lot of people who live in NoVA or Bethesda/Chevy Chase do. |

Co-own my own business (so pretty much full time but super odd hours...) I guess I should say SAHM mom by the morning working 2:30-5:30 and then 8:00 pm-??? I have a college sitter M-F 2:30-5:30 I have a child starting nursery at a private school in DC in the fall and a younger child who will be 2 and going to preschool in VA 2 days a week. |

| Live in DC, SAHM, kids at private school and spending my time lately looking at my neighbors and other woman on the street, in the store and wondering if (and what) they posted on the annoying mom thread! What cracks me up is to think that one, or some, of you out there could be casual acquaintances. Imagine if you were having a heated, insulting argument on this board with someone you actually know! |
