I have heard so many great things about Foxhall and was very happy as a regular pt, but once I became pregnant I had more interaction with the practice and a much harder time. From appts that were scheduled on the wrong days, to extremely unfriendly and unresponsive staff, to having to stop in three times to pick up one prescription, it had been a difficult experience. I was also given a diagnosis for a complication, only to be told that that diagnosis in fact was not correct and that they were uncertain as to what was the cause. Finally after sitting in the waiting room for an hour and begging Dr Beckerman to see me I got a referral to a high-risk group. When I finally got in I was told that I had not been properly diagnosed and that I had a premature rupture of my membranes. It took this doctor less thante n minutes to diagnose me correctly. However, at this point I had been walking around this way for weeks despite constant calls to Dr Beckerman and my amniotic fluid was dangerously low. I was sent to Georgetown right away, spent three weeks on bedrest and my daughter came at 29 weeks. She passed away when she was six months old due to lung complications most likely caused by the fact that I had an infection for over a month before anyone did anything about it.
I would NOT recommend this practice
