There are so many great preschools in this area that it seems quite impossible to pigeon hole them into any kind of top ten order. That would be very unfair to many schools. You couldn't possibly lump religious schools, Montessori schools, traditional schools together.

The most important thing to do is to check out schools and find the school that is right for your family. There are great schools in each category. I am partial to Montessori schools and my favorite is the Montessori School of Chevy Chase because they have such a wide choice of programs available including French.

However, if you are not looking specifically for Montessori, there are some great schools as well.
