CAn anyone offer feedback on Annunciation and St. Ann's in DC. I'm looking at Pre K. If anyone is currently a parent at these schools or have had personal experiences (positive or negative) please let me know.

Hi All. I'm an African American mom and fairly new to DC trying to find the best place to send my daughter next fall. She will be 4yrs old. I'm overwhelmed by all the private school, public school and charter school choices. She's in a private school now that I like, but I just can't see paying $20K PLUS for the next school year (especially since I will also have a 2yr old in childcare). If I want my child to have quality education in a diverse setting, is my only choice staying in private school? Are there any catholic or charter school options that are much more affordable that you can recommend?

Desperately seeking childcare for my 15 month old. We live near Petworth, DC. Any recommendations that have immediate openings? Willing to travel to Takoma Park or Silver Spring.

Also, I'm not sure if insurance covers this, so if you have pricing info that would be great. Lasty, we both work full time, so someone who does evenings (after 4pm) or Saturdays would be best.
