Hi Parents. My stepson was admitted to Lamb & E.L. Haynes for preschool. My husband and are are over the moon, but we can't decide which one to send him to. I did see the post not too long ago from the parent asking about a couple of the other charter schools, I saw the LAMB parents comments but I didn't really see any posts about EL Haynes. If there are any parents out there that can give me some insight I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance
I'm looking for a dentist for my 3 yr old son, any recommendations? I live in DC.
Thanks
I live in NW DC and I have a 3 1/2 month old son. I'm looking for either daycare (in home or facilty) or an nanny share. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
I've never interviewed any of my doctors either and my thinking was I'll just pick a pediatrician and if I don't like that person I'll just switch.
I think I was more thrown off by the fact that they charged you to meet with them. Taking a step back I can understand b/c I can only imagine how many people are trying to meet with them.
A couple questions.
I'm so late with picking a pediatrician, my baby is due next month. I've decided on 3 pediatricians at the Children & Pediatricians & Assocaites at Foggy Bottom. I called this morning to make an appintment to meet witha couple of the doctors and the receptionist/nurse said that there's a $90 dollar fee to meet with them, is that correct? I just assumed it was a free consultation.
Also the doctors that I'm deciding on are Ellie Hamburger, Jennifer Kaplan and Judith Ratner. Does anyone have any feedback on them?
Thanks
Thanks everyone for all your advice. I picked a doctor- Dr. Newman with Capital Women's, I see him on the 19th. Although I think I may have to call him on Monday as I just noticed a light pink discharge twice in 2 days. I'm a little concerned, I've read a little on the internet about what casuses bleeding during pregnancy.
I'm looking to deliver at either GW, Georgetown or Sibley. I'm looking for someone who's straight to the point, but I don't want to be rushed during the appointments. i'm a first time mom so I need someone to walk me through everything. I've read a couple forums of patients who felt as though there were rushed and the doctor wasn't the attentive.
i've read about the doctors at Reiter & Hill and also at Capital Womens.
I'm 9 weeks and I've recently had to change doctors due to location. I wish I could stay with my doctor but it's so out of the way for me to get to. I live and work in downtown DC, I work near Daily Grill at 19th & M and would like to find a doctor close to work or home. I've done a little research and I wanted to reach out to see if anyone had any recommendations. Any comments will help. Thanks in advance.
