Gan Shalom has openings in our wonderful preschool co-op!
We have an opening for a child who will be three by November 30, 2014 . Availability is for two, three, or five days within our Sachlavim “Orchids” classroom.
We also have an opening for a child who will be 30 months by September 2, 2014. Availability is for three days in our Shoshanim, “Roses” classroom.
Gan Shalom, located on Capitol Hill, is the Hill Havurah preschool. It is a cooperative Jewish preschool organized and governed by parents. Enrollment is open to children from all families, both Jewish and non-Jewish. Classes are led by experienced teachers assisted by a parent or regular caregiver, who serve on a rotating basis. Curriculum is overseen by the Director of Childhood Education.

The two and three day programs run from 9:00- 12:00 and the five day program runs from 9:00-1:00. We are a unique program with a teacher and parent in the classroom at all times. Gan Shalom, a part-time Jewish co-operative preschool, has spaces available in our 5 day classe for children aged 2.5-3.5. Families have the opportunity to support the classroom teacher on a rotating basis. Families of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome! Come join our wonderful community on the Hill.
