Hello! I was born and raised in DC. I moved to Waldorf many years ago but always worked in DC still.
My grandmother recently passed & left her townhouse in SW to me and I just moved in. I’m good but I know this will be a big transition for my daughter.

I’m not up-to-date on DC schools anymore. My daughter attended Rocketship from PreK to 1st grade, then we left. She’s now going to 8th grade. I don’t know which schools are good or bad. I know since I’m late to registration. It’s slim pickings now.

My waitlist is as follows:
Browne EC #8
Eliot-Hine #2
Stuart-Hodson #34 (not optimistic)
Friendship Blow-Pierce #5
Friendship Chamberlin #7
Boundary School is Jefferson Middle

I saw BASIS mentioned a lot on here, but I didn’t bother because I’m SURE we won’t get past that waitlist this late in.

Are these good schools? Chances of being taken off waitlist?
