I am trying to figure out what DCPS and DCPCS offer Special Education Class rooms. Specifically Early Learning support class rooms and Learning Lab / resource room for PrK students.

I can't find a way to sort on the DC schools website or any indication of s services offered and the schools guide book handed out at the educational fairs.

I am curious if it is worth buting in the research for a 2nd round lottery try? We were wait listed for ALL of our 1st round prek3 schools.
(We for 4 in the one hundreds the rest in the 300s.) Anyhow, I figure it can't hurt to add 2nd round picks. But has the 2nd round ever turned into a match for anyone?? I assume they don't really impact our 1st wait list unless we accept a enrollment at a one of the schools (13th-24th) listed??

Just starting to learn about options. Do any of them offer 2-3 full days or half days only? How do the fees compare to each other for 3 year old classes? Do they all offer diversity in student body and teachers?? Have you found them welcoming to all types of families?

I am trying to find a part-time preschool or daycare (with preschool/learning focus, not just a baby sitter situation) ideally near us in the North Michigan Park/Fort Totten/Brookland/Woodridge area.

I have found a few coops that seems to get pretty good reviews. 2 in Capitol Hill, 2 in Sliver Spring, 1 in Bethesda and one in Greenbelt. (I am sorry I don't have the list of names with me at the moment. ) I am interested in hearing about folks experiences are different coops and part-time preschools in the DC/MD area.
If you happen to know of a great place in Ward 5 or even 4 please pass it along!
