I understand it's our responsibility to teach these things.

I'm hoping to find a way to keep everything organized and have best-in-class resources on each topic. Rather than just some googled youtube videos.

I wish an App like this existed. 🤔

What does PP mean?
Hey everyone,
My daughter just entered middle school (6th grade), and while I’m happy with a lot of what she’s learning, I’ve realized there are several practical life skills and critical thinking topics that aren’t being covered in school. I want to make sure she gets exposure to things like:

* Personal finance (budgeting, understanding credit cards, saving for the future)
* Mental health and stress management
* Critical thinking (spotting fake news, analyzing media critically)
* Basic life skills (first aid, basic cooking, home maintenance)
* Job skills (resume writing, networking, interview techniques)

Do any of you know of good apps, YouTube channels, websites, or other resources that can help teach some of these? I’d love to find engaging videos or activities that can introduce her to these topics in a fun way, since they’re largely missing from her current education.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
We're going to do Apple Tree based on the commute and location. We don't want to have to deal with Wisconsin Ave to get to CommuniKids and the building is kind of oddly placed.

Apple Tree has the added benefit of being next to Bluestone Lane, Millie's, and a bunch of retail.

From asking around, both schools were spoken of highly. No clear drawbacks to either from friends of friends we heard from. 👍
Hi, we're trying to decide between Apple Tree Spring Valley and CommuniKids Glover Park for Pre-K for our 3.5yo girl.

Does anyone have experience with either Pre-K and has the Pros and Cons?

We're a little concerned about the Spanish, French or Mandarin immersion curriculum at CommuniKids since my husband and I don't speak those languages. But Apple Tree has a uniform that our princess/ballerina girl might not take to.

Please let me know your thoughts! Appreciate it!
