Patricia is the admin - admin@wcunited.org; Tudor is the director of the club: dso@wcunited.org. Tudor is usually very responsive - but he is out of the country on vacation right now until I think mid July?
We live on Capitol Hill and my daughter has been playing with WCU (Washington Capitol United) for several years. It is a great little club - the director is top notch. There are many families that live in Maryland that play with the club - I think it is a fairly drive in from close in Maryland to RFK (where most practices are held). I recommend you take a closer look!
My daughter is playing on a U15 (2008 girls) Capitol Hill based travel team - Washington Capital United (WCU) - and her team is looking to add a few 2008 girls to the roster. After a great 2022 spring season (placed first in EDP South Atlantic III division), we had a few unexpected departures from the team right before the fall season started. The team is a really nice group of girls (about 75% live on Capitol Hill; the rest in close-in Maryland or other parts of DC); the parents are also a relaxed bunch. Practices are Mon and Weds from 6-7:30 (currently at Trinidad Rec Center, but location will return back to our regular practice site (RFK) in November).
We have a new coach who started this season and he is very experienced (among other things coached at the college level for several years; is very connected in the soccer/recruiting world) and really good with the girls. He has big plans for the team - but we need to bulk our roster up (right now we only have 12 rostered)! Please contact me if you are interested/have any questions.
