Nobody is talking about triangle tops. The “bikini” tops for kids are cropped tankinis, the same shape as a sports bra.
Why are you covering little girls nipples and not the boys if not because they are sexualized. Doesn't matter if it is triangles or tankini.
Only covering because they cannot be in a DC pool without it. I think it’s crazy personally, but I don’t want my girls to get cold with all the wet big shirts on their body… so I choose the smallest bikini I can find.
