I'm Ukrainian living the Canada but my girlfriend is from the DC area. I just don't get why Americans talk ignorance about countries they clearly no nothing about, some of these comments especially on our "race" are ridiculous. I myself am often mistaken for a Kazakh and many people in the US tell me I can't be European even though I have a common Ukrainian look.
