Is your club doing a winter futsal program? Indoor leagues? Taking a break for a couple of months?

Kudos to the Arlington 2011 girls and the Alexandria 2013 boys for placing as finalists in their respective national futsal championships. It is great to see local clubs focusing on futsal and shining on the national stage.
Anyone hoping for an offer from a new club for their child? What is prompting them to leave their current team?
Our club, and seems like most around, have started tryouts already. The whole idea of trying out for next year while still in the current season doesn't sit well with me.
How drastic is the difference in recruiting between MLSNext and ECNL? DS currently plays for an MLSNext club, but is not inclined to give up the chance to play for his high school.

Training up and playing matches with own age group seems to be a great option.

As long as you don't care about team chemistry.

DS trains with both his age group and the one above, playing matches almost exclusively with his own. He loves the extra practice time and playing with the older group has greatly helped his development.
Anyone heading to futsal regionals in Atlantic City?
