You got an offer for Marie Reed dual language? Take it. That school is awesome (have friends there who switched from another dual language program and have been thrilled, also the school has a great swimming program which is a wonderful bonus).

I’ve heard good things, but didn’t know about the swimming. That’s great. Stokes has been #1 on our list for the past four years, although I’m not sure if we could get in at 1st grade even being second on the waitlist.

My kid switched to Marie Reed DL from another DL school and we cannot say enough good things about it. So nurturing and meets kids on all levels and it’s a fantastic, cohesive parent/teacher/admin community. Academically, they brought my child up 2 grade levels after a lackadaisical pandemic/charter experience. Socially and emotionally they saw my child and knew how to give her what she needed. Plus they do a great job with the arts, field trips, etc. Congratulations!
