I returned from Rochester, NY last night after having ultrasound guided hysteroscopic endomyometrial resection for a failed ablation. Dr. Wortman and his staff were amazing. My husband drove up Monday, saw them Tuesday am and afternoon, had surgery Wednesday am, and follow-up Thursday am. Stayed in hotel which was great-no cooking or cleaning, and could check in with my kids at home when able. So far, very little pain throughout, but since previous pain was so bad, anything else would be minor. Check out the Center for Menstrual Disorders and Reproductive Choice online or on Facebook. It was reassuring watching the surgery video Thursday confirming the expected source of pain no one else knew what to look for. Dr. Wortman called me today, and he responded to my initial email quickly. We expected snow daily, but only one bad weather day; Rochester averages 100 inches of snow a year. A patient from Cleveland had surgery the day before me. Things look good. Read the info Dr. Wortman has and see if it sounds like you. Success rate is high for me, only time will tell.
