I'd like to hear opinions from parents who've gone through the process with their kids to find out if my child's test scores and GBRS rating would warrant his entry into IV AAP program next year (3rd grade). Let me preface by saying I don't really know much about AAP or what are good/bad scores/ratings - and I'm trying to understand it better. He did not get in for the following year - but I'm wondering if it has to do with his scores/ratings, or if there is something more going on that isn't in quantitative (behavior in class, teacher opinion, etc.). Any thoughts would be amazing. I appreciate your help.

CoGAT - 124
NNAT - 107
WISC - 123 (94 percentile)

GBRS had 2 ratings of "consistently observed" and 6 "frequently observed"
I also have an interview here next month for my 2yr old son. I have no idea how to prepare!
Hi Everyone!

My 2yr old son and my husband and I have an entrance interview and child observation coming up at a couple preschools in Arlington, VA. I'm from a small town and have never heard of such a thing. Has anyone gone through similar situations? If so, what was your experience like with the interview? What kind of questions were asked, how did you dress, etc? And what are they expecting from the child observation?

Just want to know how to prepare!

Thanks!
