I recommend communicating via email so you have a paper trail. Always ask for your emails to be confirmed received and read.
You can call for a Periodic Review of the IEP at any time.
At the IEP meeting, take copious notes.
Ask for documentation of progress towards the goals. If you can't see it, then it did not occur.
