Just let him wander around the house and play with anything that won't hurt him. Seriously! Make him a low cupboard or two in the kitchen full of safe kitchen gadgets (silicone spoons, plastic bowls, pots and pans) where he can open, reorganize, make noise, climb in, whatever he wants.
They are AWFUL! We have them too. Only thing that works are those long rolls of flypaper that you pull out and hang somewhere they congregate.

In the past 30 days, we had over 9 million page views. Both Maria and I quit our jobs and live off DCUM now. The previous poster is correct that forums are notoriously hard to monetize. We are more the exception than the rule. Our current income is a bit more than we made from two full-time jobs (though we used to have two full-time jobs plus DCUM income, but DCUM income was lower then).

Good for you! But how do you make money off of this?

I take bribes not to reveal how many times a month you have sex. No, honestly, through advertising.

So advertisers pay you to have their ad on this site? Do people have to click on the ads? I can't imagine many people do.

I do a lot....on accident.
Any updates here?
Nevermind! In case anyone else was wondering, here it is:
http://ddot.dc.gov/service/sidewalk-repair
"A "new" sidewalk request requires a petition from a majority of the residents on your block and a public hearing."

My new question that I can't seem to find an answer for is, how does one go about creating a majority block petition?
Any ideas? Back story: I'm in DC. The small residential street I live on has a curve at one end, and just before the curve, the sidewalk disappears into some crazy weeds/shrubs/someone's yard. Wouldn't be a big deal, except I walk here every single day with a stroller, and it's a huge blind spot. I get worried that someone will be coming around the curve in a car and won't see us or we won't see them. For what it's worth, there is no sidewalk at all on the opposite side of the road.

Do I 311 this? It seems like a huge undertaking for just a 311 request. Do I have to petition and collect signatures of the neighbors?
I LOVE those kitchen cabinets. So much nostalgia.
