Scratched car - fix or not

Our car was scratched. This is a car 7 years old, but really nice car that previously looked great and less than 60k mileage.

We drive cars until it financially doesn't make sense to repair them. I would hate to be car shopping now with the chip shortage and high prices.

Would you get it fix d, and if so where would you recommend? I don't want a high prices dealership but more of a dentless place. Or would you just save the money toward a new electric car.

I’d take it to a body repair shop and fix it. That car should easily go another ten or more years.

I would take it to a detailer (fancy car wash place) to have them buff out the scratch and apply wax. It should look pretty good afterwards (probably run you about $200).
