Bethesda Rush For The Cup

Any team(s) participated in Bethesda Rush For The Cup? How was brackets/seedings over all experience?

It's not a Bethesda tournament. Its Maryland Rush.

Since I doubt he’s asking about a tournament that is occurring 11.5 months from now, OP obviously meant Bethesda Premiere cup.

It’s a good tournament. Should have great competition as it’s after high school season.

Or he meant Maryland rush from last weekend. OP, care to clarify?

OP has no business asking a question when he/she doesn’t even know what the question is. LOL

TBH Rush for the Cup is no longer a tournament. The tournament is now simply referred to as "August Cup"

Well, wrong again.

Rush for the cup and the august cup have always been two separate tournaments.

Please don’t pass misinformation. MRM has two back-to-back tournaments: August Cup and Rush For The Cup.

I think OP is asking about bethesda teams that participated in rush for the cup.

Yes, there were some bethesda teams who played. There is a link on the first couple pages of the hall of shame thread because some teams blew out other teams.

Yeah, Bethesda teams often put massively over-qualified teams into this tournament as a easy warm up.
Total jerk move, and my kid is on one of those Bethesda teams. It's really embarrassing.

I call troll. The teams who won by a lot were the blue and green teams. There's only 3 teams at those ages and that is the 2nd and 3rd. You call the bottom 2 teams overly qualified?

Bethesda generally doesn’t play in “Elite tournaments” (that is the name of the tournament company, not a qualifier for whether the tournament is in fact Elite). Elite tournaments generally are at least half the tournaments in this area (and most of the good ones). The Bethesda teams this have less choices, particularly early in the season, and that’s why they play in Rush for the Cup etc, not because they want an easy warm-up.

But as a Bethesda parent, I’m sure you already knew that….
