What are your favorite gifts for a 12-24 month old? If it makes any difference, gifts are for a boy.

Little People Animal Rescue. Every kid I’ve given it to absolutely loves it. My older son has one and my youngest, 11 months, loves to open and close the doors and turn the rescue helicopter blade.

Wooden puzzles, stacking plastic cups, bubbles

Baby doll stroller.

I'd suggest it for a girl too, but they're much more likely to get one from someone else. This was one of the most played with toys in my house with 2 little boys.

For sure. My 16 month old loves her stroller. Also loves Baby Stella and stuffed animals generally.

Yes! DS used his until he was well past three. If you’re looking for something more expensive, definitely a tricycle

Buckle whale, Melissa & Doug service station (it’s like a gas station, car wash and parking garage all in one, but compact) or anything Thomas the Tank Engine.

My 15 month old likes Smartmax magnetic toys. She loves the magnetic part and the click sound it makes when they pop together.
A relative gave her this set for her birthday: https://www.fatbraintoys.com/toy_companies/smart_usa/smartmax_my_first_farm_animals.cfm

Mine was gifted a stroller and it broke before I could get it home. She was also given a crappy plastic doll when I am hand knitting one.

As a mom I like board books or money.
