Ruined the inside of my Gucci bag...help!

I have the small Gucci cross body linked below. Unfortunately, one of my lipstick tubes somehow spilled all over the lining. The exterior of the bag is 100% fine, but the interior is now stained. According to the site, the inner material is "microfiber lining with a suede like finish".

Any suggestions for how to clean this? I'm bummed, saved up for this bag and would like to get it back to its original state. TIA!

Take it to a cobbler to clean. There’s a good one who fixed my handbag in the lower level of the building with Morton’s on CT Ave and L.

Sis - after you take your bag to the cobbler on Connecticut, please go and buy a makeup bag for your purse. That zips.

I'm intrigued by the cobbler on Connecticut, but if you want to pay and want it near perfect, I'd send it to NYC. This place does an excellent job and can replace the lining (maybe not exact lining as before, but they'll get close). Not cheap, though.
