We don't gift.

We do bring a housewarming gift. Our housewarming gift usually is a nice bottle of wine or champagne.

I was a recent college grad and moved into my first apartment. My friend bought me a toolbox with all the basic tools I needed. So practical but also perfect for me. I still use it!

Not sure how I’d react if someone gave me duct tape and a box cutter for a housewarming gift. I would be…concerned…about having that person over again.
