Juventus academy in MOCO

Hi! Any feedback on Juventus? Is there a big difference between the academy and the classic group (apart from cost)? This is for a 10 year old boy looking for progression, rigor, but also fun and good spirit.
Thanks!

Messi will personally fly out to coach at least one training session a week, totally worth it

as is your answer. Useless and worthless.

Our friend was in a higher age group and quite happy there. Only issue was where they were training as I think they were moving a bit from field to field at first.

My son is older but we checked out Juventus and were very impressed. They invited my son to multiple practices after making the offer so we got a good sense of their training. I thought the coaching was great and I could see the players were having fun. Ultimately my son chose a different team but it was my 1st choice of the clubs he tried out for.

People, forget the brands and find a good coach who teaches the game while keeping it fun. Doesn't make sense to play travel at ten.

Thanks! Super helpful. We also thought coaching was great and it seems well organised.

Agree, brand does not matter in our choice. Why do you think academy does not make sense at 10?

OP, I really don’t think it’s too early for a 10 year old to start playing travel soccer at all. I actually think it’s a perfect age to start. Based upon the numerous articles I read over the years, ages between 10-12 is when a kid is most able to start learning soccer skills. Hence, finding the right coach that you think will connect and develop your son’s skills & love for the game is most important. Development is key at your DS’s age.

I’ve heard good things about Juventus Coaches but never had direct experience with them. We were former MSI Academy family. I understand that since Juventus plays under the MSI Academy program, they have access to turf fields for games/practices at JWMS, Whitman HS and Einstein HS and numerous grass fields. Good luck.

We are with Juventus. Travel team. I couldn’t care less about brand, we left a big club for awesome and caring coaches. DS and we parents are super happy.
