Temporary car solution

My husband's car needed an expensive repair and we decided selling made more sense. We live in Southern California where an electric or hybrid would make a lot of sense -- gas is crazy expensive. We also would consider getting solar for the house, meaning we could probably pay next to nothing to power the car. Problem is that we have had a very bad year economically. We are hopeful things will bounce back, but this isn't a great time to spend for an electric car/solar. It is entirely possible we will be more stable in 12-18 months.

Is there a decent car solution for 1-2 years that is economically sensible? Can you get a short term lease?

Just get a three year lease— sometimes for EVs they are cheaper than buying.

Swap a lease or lease trader
