Dress? Jeans? Ripped jeans okay? Whats the norm?
Oh this is for me - not my DS ![]() |
Clean clothing. Seriously, that's all. I say this as the director of a preschool.
Wear what you feel comfortable in, for some that's a dress and heels, others its a dress and flats, for others it's pants and a top, others it's jeans, others it's a cute skirt and top. Me? I'll be wearing slacks and a top because I hate skirts and dresses! I might even have makeup on if I'm very organized that morning... we'll see! ![]() |
Why would you wear ripped jeans anywhere? Wear something presentable. |
You must not get out much. |
I get out plenty. It’s still trashy, no matter how much the ripped jeans cost. |
What do other grown up wear when they're going to the grocery store/errands/etc.?
It is not a job interview. |
Morning dress |
I wore a summer dress for our meet the parents/teachers picnic in the park. |
I might show up in work clothes or I might be wearing running shorts and a tshirt. If they require a certain type of dress, it won't be a good fit for my family. |
I wear jeans and a t-shirt and sneakers everywhere but work, so I'd wear that. If they would judge my kid based on my clothes, then it's not the right school for my kid.
I wear jeans, nicer sneakers and a slightly nicer over-the-head top for work. |
What you normally wear on a regular day, provided it’s clean. And a mask. |

Your child’s teacher doesn’t care what you wear. |
Pants. |
I do not know what a “morning dress” is. Thank goodness we didn’t have a “meet the teacher” event at our preschool! |
