Mask exemption for student vs staff

Are they both allowed to use the same reasons to get mask exemption?

Are some conditions for a child not contemplated for an adult?

I’m a teacher and the only mask exemption I’ve seen for staff is if we are working with a student who is hard if hearing or deaf and needs to see our mouth to communicate and learn.

For kids, the only kids who could possibly qualify are in self contained rooms and profoundly disabled. There are no other legitimate exemptions the district will allow.
