Hello all,
I am wondering if doing Shady Grove's shared risk program with PGS testing is worth looking into. I am currently at CCRM and I have never done IVF. I have gotten pregnant 3x naturally and miscarried each time, so I am at CCRM strictly for the full recurrent loss panel and monitoring. But I still lost my most recent pregnancy with them. Hubs and I are emotionally drained and thinking IVF with PGS is the next step? I have an appt with Shady Grove next month but if I am not eligible I really don't want to waste my time... AMH is 1.23 and AFC was 10 at last baseline. 29 years old. BMI is 21-22ish. I know I don't qualify for CCRM's refund program because of my losses. If anyone has any insight as to whether I would qualify for Shady Grove's shared risk, please let me know. My only other option would be to look into immunology with Abbasi in DC or Derbala in Michigan because he is in my insurance. Any thoughts would be appreciated. |
| I’m not sure if SGF factors in previous miscarriage. I know eligibility is generally based on lab results, including AMH and AFC. I don’t know the cut offs. Your AMH might be a little low. You really have to just ask to see. |
| Could you ask what the criteria are for RPL before the appointment? I’m sorry, we had 4 natural miscarriages in a row and it takes so much out of you. I totally understand not wanting to waste your time (and emotional energy). I did a consult with Dr. Abassi and I think an immunology consult is a good idea for you. |
| I would send over your test results from CCRM before your appointment at Shady Grove so the doctor you meet with has that information. I think they could tell you if they can see your numbers. |
