Generous George's Pizza closed - other ideas for pizza restaurant in Alexandria suitable for toddler

Anonymous
We were so very sad to pull up to find it closed. Does anyone have any other favorite Pizza Restaurants nearby? My son often asks to go to the "Pizza Restaurant" and Pizza Hut just won't do.

Go to Rustico is you want to dine in. For take out, Z pizza. Pizzeria paradiso is also opening in Old town.

OP here - funny to see this thread pop up. Herndon is WAY to far for us to travel with two toddlers for pizza. We've since found a few places we can take the little guys and have pizza. Lost Dog in south Arlington is our favorite pizza but sometimes the wait can be long with little kids. We have really taken a liking to Faccia Luna in Old Town. And there is a new Ledo Pizza that just opened on Rt 1 South in the Safeway plaza that we'll be checking out as well. I figure we should at least give it a shot.

I thought the one in Alexandria closed bc they lost their lease...but its been almost 2 years and no one has leased nor bought the space they occupied. What a waste that they moved out...

Two years? I was there this summer eating...

Try Uno in Kingstowne, kids can make their own pizza

Foccia de Luna on Washington St. has good pizza and is fairly kid friendly.

I know this is an old thread, but I think the Pizzeria Paradiso finally opened up on King Str. Anybody been there and know whether it is kid-friendly?

Agree.

And the service is slow and rude and the price is high.

Fairlington Pizza - very small but they seem kid friendly.

PiZza paradoso would be kid friendly. Haven't been to the new one in ot but have been in dupont. Generous George was so gross no wonder they closed. Bugsys in old town is fair not great but kid friendly. Rustico is good.

Another vote for Faccia Luna in old town. We have a 2 y/o and 4 y/o and it's great for families with awesome food!
