I’m 50 and of my closest friends (both straight and gay) who married all are still married to their first spouse except for me. One is single and childless. One is a single mom by choice. One is married to someone who was serially unfaithful but they are on firmer footing now. Siblings are all married to their original spouse. I’m pretty lonely.

This makes me so sad. Glad things have changed and are changing.

30s, probably about half are single, half are married/in committed relationships? No divorces among my close friends yet; a few of us have kids but most don’t (mix of not yets and child free by choice).

All my friends (HS, college, post-college) are married. We were all married between 26-32.
