How long does it have in the little PetSmart cup before it is harmed? I want to transfer it to a tank but the instructions say to wait 24 hours. I can’t imagine that little cup is good for it though.

24 hours then transfer. Make sure your water is safe first.

If you have a cycled tank, you can just acclimate them fish to the temperature and drop it in.

I put all the water conditioner, filters, and the heater in. Now it just says to wait 24 hours to let the water condition.

I just bought the tank at the same time as the fish. Is cycling the sand as letting it run for 24 hours with the filter and water conditioner? Also, how do I acclimate?
