Timing next cycle after chemical pregnancy

Just did a timed intercourse cycle (letrozole/trigger shot) that resulted in a chemical pregnancy. RE is still waiting for my HCG to go back down to zero but my period has already started. Does that mean I can't start another treatment cycle until my next menstrual cycle?

No you should be able to start right away.

curious how long it has been-- I did an IUI cycle in June that resulted in a miscarraige- my RE was testing HCG until it was 15 and then said I was good and didn't ask for more monitoring... did at home pregnancy test this past week and it is positive but seems to me very unlikely to be new pregnancy ( never got a period and thew hole reason I did IUI is that I don't ovulate so needed clomid). how long has it been since your chemical?

My husband was naturally conceived immediately after a miscarriage and he is (mostly) normal

If it is still CD 1 or 2, I would call RE and explain that you just got your period and you want to try another Letrozole cycle. As long as you start Letrozole around CD 3 you should be fine. And chemical pregnancies do not require a "recovery" time or a cycle off.

This was me and it was a new pregnancy. Unfortunately also resulted in another miscarriage though.
