Weaning 13 month old- which feed to drop next

Anonymous
Currently weaning breastfed 13 month old DS. He has a wonderful appetite and I suspect that a lot of nursing is comfort and routine. Current schedule is
7am wake up and nurse 8-10 minutes
8am breakfast with older sister
10:30-11:00ish nurse for a few minutes before nap
Lunch after waking from nap
Afternoon snack around 3:30ish
6:30 dinner
7:15-7:30 nurse 8-10 minutes before bed

I’m thinking the nursing session before the nap is the next to go? I dropped the after nap nursing last week

Mine has milk bottle cavities from nursing to sleep until 24 months

If you keep the bed time nurse you need to get a tooth brush in there after

Agreed, drop bedtime first.

I'd drop the nap nurse next and drop the wakeup one last. Break any nurse/sleep association first.

Drop the nap time first.

Then AM, then night time.

Thanks- thats what I was leaning to. Break the sleep association at nap time first since its more of a comfort/habit and less of a real feeding, and then the more substantial sessions next.
